Overview:
Salt Density Testeris a special measuring instrument developed for the detection of anti-pollution flashover points in power systems, used to measure the equivalent salt deposit density (hereinafter referred to as "salt density") of insulators and the conductivity of solutions. This instrument complies with the regulations and requirements of GB/T16434 – 1996 "Environmental Pollution Classification and External Insulation Selection Standards for High-Voltage Overhead Lines and Power Plants, Substations". The instrument uses a microcontroller as its core, adopts a single-key flywheel menu operation, eliminating the need for buttons and range selection switches found in general instruments, and features a Chinese LCD display, achieving automated measurement. In addition to measuring salt density, it can also measure solution conductivity, temperature, etc. With its high measurement accuracy, intuitive readings, and convenient and flexible use, the whole instrument is widely applied in power, education, scientific research, and other related industries.
Principle:
It uses a microcontroller as the core, adopting measurement methods such as fine segmentation and intelligent prediction; digital filtering overcomes interference, Newton's iteration method solves circuit nonlinearity and cumulative errors at each step, and floating-point arithmetic ensures calculation accuracy and measurement range.

Salt Density: resolution 0.0001, full-scale accuracy better than ±2%;
Temperature: resolution 0.1, accuracy better than ±0.5℃;
Conductivity: resolution is 1/1000 of the electrode range used, full-scale accuracy ≤±2%.
3. Display Output Method
1) LCD displays measurement results.
2) Measurement data can be directly output through the printer.
3) Data can be uploaded to a computer via data cable for processing.
