Usage:
Insulation boots (gloves) withstand voltage test device consists of two main parts: the water tank test and the base. After unpacking the two parts, place the water tank part on the base, and tighten the grounding screw to ensure good contact with the water tank.
During the test, fill the water tank with water to about 2/3, place the insulation boots (gloves) in the high-voltage electrode clamp to balance and hang them. Fill the inside of the insulation boots (gloves) with water, but the water level should not be higher than 5CM below the mouth of the insulation boots (gloves). Ensure that the part of the insulation boots (gloves) exposed above the water surface remains dry and clean. Then adjust the electrode rod through the locking screw to insert the electrode into the insulation boots (gloves). Turn the handle to lower the insulation boots (gloves) until the inner and outer water levels are the same.
After the above work is completed, connect the high-voltage input nut (8) of this device to the high-voltage output terminal of the test transformer, and then connect the test connection wire between the test transformer and the control box (as shown in the figure). Only after ensuring the wiring is correct can the boost test be carried out. When boosting to the rated voltage, pay attention to the milliammeter. If the insulation performance of the insulation boots (gloves) decreases, the milliammeter will indicate accordingly.
