TetraCon?Conductivity Cell
The TetraCon? conductivity cell is the world's four-ring potentiometric conductivity probe. The cell is designed with four stainless steel rings protected by an epoxy outer sleeve. The outer two rings are supplied with AC voltage, and the inner two rings measure the voltage drop difference. A cylinder covers the carbon rod to form an electric field, ensuring a stable current flux. The voltage drop difference reading analysis method ensures immunity from current polarity interference, provides a wide measurement range, and eliminates polarization effects. Only one electrode is needed to complete the measurement.
Compared with traditional two-electrode conductivity cells, the TetraCon? conductivity cell has the following advantages: high precision and good linearity, wide measurement range, stable electrode constant, built-in temperature sensor in the electrode, accurate measurement results even when the electrode is dirty, automatic compensation of electrode surface resistance, measurement results unaffected by cables, no influence from primary or secondary polarization, and the electrode is not easily damaged.
