Also known as capacitive voltage transformer test device. According to national regulations, the test frequency must be conducted at 50Hz during calibration. Meanwhile, due to the complex on-site geographical conditions, traditional test devices have difficulty meeting the requirements of on-site transportation and testing. The Resonant Boost Device is the first adjustable resonant device used for on-site calibration in China, and has been widely used for on-site calibration of capacitive voltage transformers at 500kV and below in China.
Performance Features:
◆ Output voltage and current waveforms are good, with distortion less than 0.5%
◆ Requires small capacitance. The required power supply capacity is 1/Q times the test capacity, and the Q value can reach 20-60
◆ No overvoltage protection needed. When the test object breaks down, the system detunes, the resonant high voltage disappears, and the reactor immediately limits the short-circuit current, preventing further damage to the test object
◆ Easy to move on-site. This device is a dry-type combined series resonant device, composed of an excitation transformer and multiple resonant reactors. Each individual unit is small in size and light in weight, making it easy to move and suitable for on-site use
◆ This device combines the voltage regulation control box and the excitation transformer into one integrated structure, which is small in size, light in weight, simple in wiring, and especially suitable for on-site use
