When the oil filter is working, the contaminated oil enters the heater through the inlet under the action of external atmospheric pressure and vacuum suction. The heated oil enters the primary filter, where large particle impurities are removed. Then the oil enters the vacuum separator and flows through a specially designed dispersing device. This dispersing device creates a huge surface area per unit volume of oil, exposing the contaminated oil to an atmosphere with relatively low humidity, thereby removing water, air, and gases from the oil. The mixed gas formed by evaporated water vapor and gases passes through the water tank and cooler, condenses into liquid, and enters the water storage tank together. The remaining gas is evacuated by the vacuum. The oil with water removed is pumped by the discharge pump into the fine filter to remove particulate impurities, resulting in purified oil, completing a purification cycle. Depending on the water content, multiple cycles may be required to completely remove water.
Operating Steps:
1. Connect the oil filter to the power supply, connect the oil inlet and outlet pipes, and according to the process flow diagram, close all valves connected to the outside (1, 9, 10, 13, 16, 17), open valves 2 and 4 (or 3 and 5, using the two primary filters separately, or simultaneously), 6, and 19 to form an oil filtration circuit.
2. Start the vacuum pump. When the vacuum degree reaches -0.07MPa, slowly open the oil inlet valve 1 to allow the oil to gradually flow into the oil filter.
3. Observe the oil level in the vacuum separator. When the oil level reaches the float control point, open the oil outlet ball valves 12 and 19.
4. Start the oil pump (note: the oil pump must only be started when the oil outlet valve is open, otherwise there is a risk of pipe burst). The oil is then discharged from the oil outlet, allowing the oil filter to form a circulating filtration. Adjust the oil inlet ball valve 1 so that the inlet and outlet oil volumes are basically balanced, and then it is automatically controlled by the liquid level controller.
5. After the oil forms a normal circulating filtration through the oil filter (i.e., the inlet and outlet oil volumes are balanced), the heater can be turned on. Set the temperature controller between 45~70°C (depending on needs) to maintain constant temperature heating of the oil, ensuring normal degassing and dehydration in the vacuum separator.
6. After the oil filter is fully operating normally, turn on the fan on the cooler to start the forced air cooling system, ensuring that the filtered water vapor and gases are cooled and precipitated in the water storage tank of the cooler.
7. After a period of operation, samples can be taken from the sampling valve of the oil filter for testing.
8. If the oil has a high water content and forms an emulsified state, i.e., emulsified oil, it can be demulsified and dehydrated by opening ball valve 7 and then closing ball valve 6, allowing it to pass through the water separator.
9. If the oil requires deep treatment, a certain amount of filter aid can be appropriately added to make the filtered oil more clear and transparent.
Method: Put the filter aid (100g) into the hopper of the oil filter, then gradually open the hopper ball valve 21. It will be automatically sucked into the vacuum separator by vacuum, and after self-stirring, it is injected into the fine filter to form a dense coating, achieving fine filtration.
Shutdown
When oil treatment is completed or it is necessary to stop operation midway
1. First, reset the temperature controller to stop heating. Let the oil filter continue to run for 3-5 minutes, then close the oil inlet valve 1.
2. Turn off the vacuum pump to stop vacuuming.
3. Use the oil pump to drain the oil in the vacuum separator completely, then turn off the oil pump.
4. Open the exhaust valve on the vacuum separator to release the vacuum. Open the water storage tank valves 10 and 17 respectively to drain the residual oil or water inside. Open the fine filter valve 13 to remove residual impurities. Note: After draining, close the above valves for next use.
5. Special note: In case of emergency, press the emergency stop button. At this time, the entire machine is powered off and the machine is not energized. To restart, you must rotate the emergency stop button clockwise to reset it before you can turn on the various control buttons on the oil filter for normal use.
Instructions for Use
1. The ambient temperature for this machine's operation is in the range of -20~45°C.
2. The altitude of the site directly affects the vacuum degree of the machine. The higher the altitude, the lower the vacuum degree (negative value).
3. The oil to be treated cannot be too dirty (i.e., too many impurity particles in the oil). Otherwise, it must be fully filtered by other filtering equipment (such as the JL series portable filter and oil filling machine produced by our factory) to avoid affecting the dehydration and degassing efficiency of the oil filter.
